Ermenilerin Damlacada yaptığı katliama ağıt

Feke-nin Kaşaltı köyünden olan Sarı Fakı Mustafa (soyadı kanunundan sonra Demir soyadını alır) köyünden göçer. Kozan-ın şu andaki Cumhuriyet mahallesinde, Arap camii çevresinde arsa alır ve bir ev yaptırır.

Ayrıca şu andaki Arap Cami-nin olduğu yerde bir mescit inşa eder, orada namaz kıldırır.

Kısa zamanda köyünde olduğu gibi Kozan-da da sevilen, saygı

duyulan birisi olur.

Alimdir , sohbeti güzeldir ve hitabeti kuvvetlidir.

Eşinin adı Zeliha-dır ancak çevresi ona Zalha der.

Komşularında Ermeniler de vardır.

Genelde Ermeni hanımlarına Türkler -mama- demektedir.

Bir gün komşularından bir mama:- Bacım bizimkiler gene

azdılar, harp çıkacak siz geri köyünüze gidin- der.

Sarı Fakı ve ailesi evlerini kilitleyip geçici olarak köyleri Kaşaltı na giderler.

Köyde bir hayli kaldıktan sonra çocuklarından biri hastalanır ve doktora getirmeleri gerekir.

Bu arada Fransızlar ve Ermeniler Kozan-ı ve Hacinı terk etmişlerdir.

Hem bir evi bir yoklayalım, hem de çocuğu doktora gösterelim- derler ve geri gelirler.

Ev yerli yerinde duruyor, zarar ziyan yok.

Fakat Ermeniler Türk evlerini zarar vermişler. Tavandan delerek evin içine gaz yağı dökmüşlerdir.

Kokusundan dolayı eşyalar kullanılamaz, ekmekler, buğdaylar yenmez hale gelmiştir. Mevsim güzdür.

Kozan-dan yedi kişi yola çıkarlar;

Sarıfakı Mustafa-nın eşi Zeliha,

Zeliha -nın kucağındaki çocuğu, oğlu,

Zeliha -nın bacısının oğlu Mehmet 7-8 yaşındadır.

Kozan-dan Kaşaltına en kestirme yol şu andaki Kilgen barajının

Yerinden geçerek Kırksu çayını takip edip gidilen yoldur.

Kilgen çayının üzerinden kırk defa geçildiği için -Kırksu- adını almıştır.

Yedi kişilik çocuk ve kadından oluşan grup Mahyalar köyünün Damlaca mevkiine geldiklerinde silahlı Ermeniler yollarını çevirirler ve silah kullanmadan (silah sesi duyulur diye) bıçaklarla, baltalarla yedisini de keserler, şehit ederler.

Olaydan bir kaç saat sonra Mahyalar köyünden bir çoban olayın olduğu yere gelir.

Manzara karşısında bu on altı, on yedi yaşındaki gencin dili tutulur, aklını yitirmiş durumda eve gelir ve annesi onu soğuk su ile banyo yaptırır. Genç kendine gelince durumu anlatır.

Acı haberi duyan köylüler olayın olduğu yere koşarlar. Manzara çok korkunçtur.

Kesilerek, boğazlanarak öldürülen insanların Kaşaltı köyünden oldukları anlaşılır.

Olayı duyan tüm Kaşaltı ve çevre köylüler olayın olduğu yere,

Mahyalar köyüne koşarlar.

Olayda üç şehit veren Sarı Fakı Mustafa da gelir.

Hanımını kınalı ellerinden parmağındaki yüzükten tanır.

Çocuklarını ise başları kesilmiş olduğu için birisini kana belenmiş vücuduna rağmen sırtındaki leke- den, diğerini ise ayağındaki kesik parmağından tanır.

Oturur aralarına. Zeliha-nın ortasına kırmızı karanfil işlediği mendiline gözyaşlarını silerek şöyle der:

Mustafa Demir Bey-den dinledim.

Damlaca-nın mezarına,

Bir gece yatmaya geldim.

Kurulmuş şehit mezarı

Bebeği satmaya geldim.

Küçük oğlum tatlı, şeker,

Ömer-im boynunu büker,

Bu gün anam gelir diye,

Çıkar da yollara bakar.

Ahtım kaldı karşı dağda,

Ağzım söyler gözüm ağlar,

Doyamadım oğlum sana,

Yalnız Ömer gönlüm eğler.

Ya Muhammet sana neoldu?

Bu ağıdı Kozan-da oturan İbrahim-Ayşe oğlu 1937 doğumlu Sarıfakı Mustafa-nın oğlu Mustafa Demir-den aldım.

LAMENT for THE MASSACRE COMMITTED by THE ARMENIANS in DAMLACA

Sarı Fakı Mustafa, who is from Feke-s Kaşaltı village (takes the surname Demir after the surname law), immigrated from the village. He buys land and builds a house in the current Cumhuriyet neighborhood of Kozan, around the Arab mosque.

He also builds a mosque where the current Arab Mosque is, and leads prayers there.

In a short time, he was loved and respected in Kozan as well as in his village.

Sarı Fakı and his family lock their house and temporarily go to their village Kaşaltı.

After staying in the village for a long time, one of their children gets sick and they have to bring him to the doctor.

The house is in its place, there is no damage.

But Armenians damaged Turkish houses. They poured kerosene into the house by drilling through the ceiling.

Due to its smell, the goods cannot be used, the bread and wheat have become inedible. The season is Autumn.

The shortest way from Kozan to Kaşaltı is the current Kilgen dam.

It is the way to go by following the Kırksu Stream, passing through its place.

It was named -Kırksu- because it was passed over the Kilgen Stream forty times.

When a group of seven children and women came to the Damlaca area of Mahyalar village, armed Armenians turned their way and killed all seven of them with knives and axes, without using weapons (in case the gunshot could be heard).

A few hours after the incident, a shepherd from the village of Mahyalar comes to the place where the incident took place.

Faced with the scenery, this sixteen, seventeen-year-old boy is speechless, he comes home lost in his mind, and his mother gives him a bath with cold water. When the young man regains consciousness, he explains the situation.

Hearing the sad news, the villagers run to the place where the incident took place. The scenery is terrifying.

It is understood that the people who were slaughtered and killed were from Kaşaltı village.

All Kasaltı and surrounding villagers who heard about the incident,

They run to the village of Mahyalar.

Sarı Fakı Mustafa, who gave three martyrs in the incident, also comes.

He recognizes his wife by the ring on her finger from her henna hands.

He recognizes his children, one by the stain on his back despite his blood-drenched body, and the other by the cut finger on his foot, because their heads were cut off.

He sits between them. He wipes his tears on his handkerchief, in which Zeliha has embroidered red carnations in the middle, and says:

To Damlaca-s tomb,

I came to sleep one night.

I came to sell the baby.

My little boy is sweet, sugar,

My Ömer bends his neck,

In case my mother comes today,

He also looks at the roads.
